This has been a question that has plagued my generation and I�m guessing many a generation before me.

Well what did come first? With all logic the egg must of come first, otherwise how would you get the chicken. But on the other hand how do you get a chicken without the egg.

Maybe in all the ooze and mucous that made up the earth, at some point, a reptile laid an egg and wandered off. And along came a flying creature of some sort and fertilized the egg, causing a genetic cock up and mutated in to what we know now as a chicken.

But on the other hand maybe it went like this...
After many millions of years of evolution the chicken had enough of giving birth the old fashioned way of carrying until conception. Figured that they could lay numerous amounts of eggs in one place, without many hassles and let them incubate with relative ease.

Many people out there that believes in the whole religious thing feel that the god created all living things. So should we look to the bible? Will this give us the reasoning behind the reasons of egg and chicken with how they come to be?
